In 2006, while watching the youngest of their four children study for college, it seemed that there were many hours wasted creating study tools like flash cards instead of actually studying.
Before long, her software-developing parents had a simple system that would store her course material and allow her to study and test her knowledge of the material.
After just one semester, her grades had significantly improved and her classmates were asking for copies of the software.
Lucubee was born.
